The DMX PE42 is a rugged direct thermal/thermal transfer print engine for high volume bar code labeling, developed exclusively for print-and-apply device OEMs. This unit is bolt compatible with existing configurations for easy plug and play integration with automatic label applicator systems. Features include a fast 32-bit RISC microprocessor, a drop-down carriage allowing full access to the media path, an illuminated rotatable liquid crystal display, a nine-key control panel and a ribbon spool that can hold up to 450 meters of ribbon.
