Our fonts support all 256 ASCII characters. They’re scaleable and can be used at any point size. OCR (Optical Character Recognition) fonts are used whenever fast, error-free machine readable symbols are required. OCR-A and OCR-B are different thanMICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) symbols found on the lower left corner of checks.

OCR-A/OCR-B is available for Microsoft Windows and the Macintosh. The Windows fonts come in both TrueType and Type 1 PostScript format. The Mac fonts are in Type 1 PostScript format. The UNIX fonts are Type 1 PostScript fonts in unencoded ASCII format.
